« The goal of Research is to provide a clear answer to a well-defined question.
However, a Research & Development project involves many facets, each representing potential pitfalls and distractions.
Just as a craftsman masters every step to bring a unique, tailor-made object to life, the researcher uses his expertise to give meaning and coherence to the process, ultimately creating something new.
In this sense, practicing research is somewhat like being a craftsman.
When I talk about my profession, I often refer to it as the Craftsmanship of Research. »
